Tennessee state representative and graduate of Goodpasture Christian School Debra Maggart (R-Hendersonville) stated that homosexuals should not be allowed to adopt because, "We also have seen evidence that homosexual couples prey on young males and have, in some instances, adopted them in order to have unfretted [sic] access to subject them to a life of molestation and sexual abuse." This "evidence" appears to have come from a Focus on the Family? presentation.
