CEAI and the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network agreed on a set of guidelines for addressing sexual orientation issues in public schools. According to Finn Laursen, executive director of CEAI, "Our endorsement of the guidelines for Public Schools and Sexual Orientation is in no way a wandering away from, change or compromise of our long established support of traditional family values and Biblical standards."
It would seem that CEAI supports the teaching of Intelligent Design, or at least a lesson plan called Critical Analysis of Evolution that they believe would open students to the idea of Intelligent Design.
Laursen opposes a supposed liberal bias in education, says a Family News in Focus article. The organization is mentioned quite a few times on the Focus on the Family website.
